Dunsany Continued their fine league form with a hard fought victory over Meath Hill on Saturday evening.
Dunsany came out of the blocks quickly with Declan Smyth scoring a goal within the first minute of play.
Meath Hill responded well and kept the home side scoreless for the next 10 mins and took the
lead 4 points to 1 goal.
But in a tight 1st half Dunsany narrowly edged the score 1-3 to 0-5 thanks to points from David Boyle and Cathal Murphy.

The 2nd half continued in the same vein as both sides traded points with Murphy and Boyle adding to their tallies. Alan Kelly got what turned out to be the winning point 4 minutes from the end of normal time but this was not to be the end of an enthralling contest as deep into injury time the visitors were awarded a penalty.

Keeper Niall Flynn stood up and sprung to his right and superbly saved the penalty and soon after the referees whistle went for the final time giving Dunsany their hardest earned victory of the year so far.
